College Time will be here Soon

Scholarships are a must when your children plan to go to college. The fees are $5000+ per semester depending on the school your child plans to go to and the type of degree they want when they’re done. Most people don’t have $20000+ for schooling, so the only way their children can attend college is for them to get a scholarship to cover the costs.

My oldest son is going to be a junior in high school next month and he’s talking about college already. While it’s hard to believe and doesn’t seem possible, it is coming and it’s coming fast, so we’re preparing now for this time to come. Our son knows scholarships are the only way it’s going to happen. While there are thousands of scholarships for him to choose from, it’s impossible for him to know every single scholarship that’s available.

College is a fun time for kids. It gives them the ability to grow up, yet have fun at the same time. Most know they need to do good so they can graduate and get a job in their field. It’s hard for parents to let go, but it’s also great to sit back and watch your child step up to the next level and grow a little more.

While I’m nervous at that stage and I’m glad I have two more years to go, I’m excited for it to happen and I can’t wait. I also know scholarships are the only way to go and when that senior year hits, I’m going to look for help in locating the best scholarships for our son so he has enough to have everything paid for each semester.
