Insurance can Save you Money

The cost of everything is rising on a regular basis. Gas prices are going up which means the cost of food, personal care items, and homes are on the rise too. It’s a cycle that happens because it only takes one thing to rise for everything else to be affected by it.

When this happens it causes problems for our family members as well. If you were to become sick and you can’t pay your insurance costs that puts a burden on your family and nobody wants that. This is why it’s important to have insurance. There’s life insurance, health insurance, and vehicle insurance. When we have these our families will be protected and the cost of things won’t be so high.

I can tell you having insurance is a must because you just never know what can happen. Chris broke his foot a while back ago and if it weren’t for the health insurance we had, the cost would have been $2000+. Now that situation doesn’t compare to one where I had surgery. The cost for everything was $25000, but the insurance saved us and we only paid $700 for everything. We would have been in series trouble had we not had the insurance to help cover the cost.

So don’t put your family in a financial situation. Look for cheap life insurance and health insurance and have the coverage you deserve. The monthly premiums will be worth it if you find yourself in a situation where you need the coverage and thousands of dollars are spent on your problem.

Tips for Saving Money by Living Frugally

January can be a difficult time of year for some. If you over spent during the Christmas season or you used credit cards to pay for your Christmas gifts, you may find yourself stressed about how you’re going to pay for everything. When this happens, it’s important to find a way to eliminate the stress and pay for the bills as they come in.

The best way to do this is to live frugally for a time. Depending on how much you need to save, you may need to do this for a few months or you may need to adopt the frugal living lifestyle. There are a number of ways to make to do this and a few of them are listed below.

1. Going out to eat is a habit we’ve all become a custom to and it can cost a lot more money than it would if you were to make your meals at home. Depending on where you live and the place you go, you could spend $30 to $60 or more on your meal. When you go to the store to make your purchases you will spend $5 to $15 on a meal depending on what you prepare. That’s a huge savings each time and that savings could go to pay the bills.

2. Another way to save money and live more frugally is to use price matching and couponing. Depending on the store you go to and the coupons you use, you could save as little as $5, but you could save a substantial amount which could total $50 or more each time you go. $50 could buy a tank of gas or pay your electric bill, so the savings with this option could be tremendous. Save Money with Bountiful Baskets

In the winter time it’s hard to find fresh fruits and vegetables. Our family loves fruits and vegetables so it’s terrible when we can’t find them. Sometimes you can find fruits like bananas, strawberries, and oranges, but they don’t taste the same because they’re not really in season.

Another problem that comes with buying fruits and vegetables is the cost. They can be so expensive to purchase and the bad thing is the better quality they are, the more expensive they will be, which makes it hard to buy them. It’s important to have these in your daily diet, so we do our best to keep them in the house as often as possible.

A number of months ago we were told about a way to get fruits and vegetables a reasonable price. After a few days of consideration we decided to give it a try. We figured the worst that could happen is we wouldn’t like it and that would be the end of it. Needless to say seven months later we’re still ordering these baskets and referring our friends and family as well.

The program we purchase our fruits and vegetables through is called Bountiful Baskets and it’s an awesome co-op that’s completely volunteer based. There are not contracts to sign, no catch, and no obligation. That’s what makes it perfect!

The first time you order your total for one basket will cost $19.50 and that covers the cost of the fruits and vegetables and then the cost to purchase new baskets for the location to use for your items. Once that first order is done, you’ll pay $16.50 for each basket.

They also offer organic baskets, breads, and then other items depending on the time of the month and the season. The items you can purchase are all reasonable in price and the quality is great.

Here are some pictures of the basket we got last week. This week we’re going to volunteer to help get the baskets ready. I’m pretty excited to do that as I’ve met a number of people that attend the location we’re going to. They seem very nice and eager to help.

If you find you’re spending too much on fruits and vegetables or you can’t get good quality fruits and vegetables in your location, you should consider checking into Bountiful Baskets to see if they’re offered in your location. You won’t be sorry you did when you get enjoy the fruits and vegetables we have in our home.

Tips for Earning Money from Home

Several times I’ve spoken about saving money and ways to make it happen. You can do this through saving money on gas with your vehicle, using coupons at the grocery store, and correcting problems with your home such as air leaks in your windows and under doors. One thing I don’t talk about much is how to increase your income so you don’t have to worry so much about your money.

There are many things you can do to earn more money. For one you can get a 2nd or 3rd job, but that may not be an option if you have a family at home. If you’re in this situation, you should consider finding a work from home business or job so you’re at home when your family needs you. You have numerous choices to consider included actual jobs or businesses like being a direct sales rep or a Virtual Assistant to name a few.

If those things don’t sound good because it takes time to create an established business, you should consider another alternative. If you find this is how you feel, you should consider checking into Cash Tasks. You can earn cash rewards for completing tasks assigned by companies.

The greatest part of Cash Tasks would have to be fact that you can go in any time of the day or night and accept tasks. This makes it easier for you to earn money when it’s convenient for you and your family.

If you find money is tight, consider all of your options and then plan what you’re going to do to end that fight and have the money you need. There are many things you can do and when you put them all together, you’re sure to find a way to have money when you need it.
