Menu Monday: December 12

Several of the meals on this list are my favorites, so I’m happy about this week. LOL Do you have weeks like that where you plan your favorite meals? I do this every once in a while, but the good thing about it is my family likes the same foods as me so they don’t mind.

Monday – Beef Rollups
Tuesday – Country Omelets
Wednesday – Burger and Fry Pot Pie
Thursday – Cheesy ham and hashbrown casserole
Friday – Grocery Shopping, eat out
Saturday – Turkey Pinnia
Sunday – Waffles

We’re always looking for new meals to have, but we’re picky, so meals must contain chicken, hamburger, or vegetables. What are your favorite meals?

Menu Monday: December 5

Here is our menu for the week. These are some of our favorites we’ve had in the past. It’s been a while for some of them so we decided to bring them back for a change. Some of them our my favorites. LOL

Monday – Turkey w/mashed potatoes
Tuesday – French Dips
Wednesday – Turkey left overs
Thursday – Chicken soup
Friday – Homemade Pizza’s
Saturday – Family Christmas Party
Sunday – Beefy Tomato Rice Skillet

Next week’s menu is going to be just as good. You’ll have to make sure you stop by to see what we’re having.

Menu Monday: November 14

This week we’re having a new recipe and my boys and hubby are very much looking forward to it. A few weeks ago we went to KFC and they had potato and chicken bowls. They enjoyed them so much that we decided to try our hand at making them ourselves. I hope they turn out better than the ones you get at KFC. :)

Here is our menu list for this week.

Monday – Baked Spaghetti
Tuesday – Potato & Chicken bowl
Wednesday – Meatloaf
Thursday – Baked Chicken
Friday – Take out
Saturday – Pizza
Sunday – Fried Chicken

I think next week we’ll try home made chicken noodle soup. I have a coupon for the noodles and we have some chicken broth left from the potato soup from last week, so we might as well use it up. So what’s on your menu list for the week?

Menu Monday: November 7

Fall is here and that means colder weather. In Wyoming, this is the time of year where we get snow and colder temps. This is a good time of year for me because my boys tend to enjoy warm things. LOL

Here is our menu list for this week.

Monday – Junction burgers (hamburgers with cheese and ham)
Tuesday – Potato Soup
Wednesday – Chef Salads
Thursday – Waffles
Friday – Sheppard’s Pie
Saturday – Turkey Melts
Sunday – Meatloaf

There are several new things on our menu that I’m really looking forward to trying. They’re recipes we have had in the past, so I’m really looking forward to eating them again. So what’s on your menu list for the week?

Menu Monday: October 17

Well we’re almost done with football. This is our last week and to tell you the truth, I’m really sad about it. I love watching Chris play. He’s improved so much this year and that’s been awesome to watch. Soon basketball will be starting for Josh, so we’ll have a short about of time before it all starts up again.

Here is our list for the week. We have a new recipe this time and several oldies, but goodies.

Monday – Turkey Pinani
Tuesday – Chef Salad
Wednesday – Dorito Casserole
Thursday – Loaded baked potatoes
Friday – Take out
Saturday – Ham and Mashed Potatoes
Sunday – Chicken and noodles

The weather here is turning cold and I’m sure before too much longer we’ll have snow on the ground. I’m not looking forward to that, but it is what it is and we just have to deal with it. Do your meals have anything to do with the weather or do you make what you want regardless of the temperature outside?

Menu Monday: October 10

We’re in the middle of football season so our meals must be quick on certain days. The games may be early so dinner is fine or they may be late so a quick meal is in order. Regardless, enjoyable meals are a must. LOL  Here is our list for the week.

Monday – Potato Soup
Tuesday – French Dips
Wednesday – Goulash
Thursday – Monte Cristo’s
Friday – Spaghetti
Saturday – Chicken and Rice
Sunday – Hamburgers

Hope you have some good things on the list for this week. Please share in the comments below if you have something good that we may like to try.

Menu Monday: September 5

Another work week is upon us, but I think for most of us it’s a short one due to the Labor Day holiday. I hope you’ve had a good one. We’re going to go the lake to get some fishing in before the weather turns, so our meals will be quick.

Monday – Dorito casserole
Tuesday – Turkey dips
Wednesday – Club Sandwiches
Thursday – Spaghetti
Friday – Eat out
Saturday – Goulash
Sunday – Left Over’s

What do you have on the menu this week? Share with us in the comments.

Menu Monday: August 29

This is the first full week of school, plus Friday is the beginning of the Labor Day weekend so it will be a busy week. We’re taking our camp trailer to the mountain Wednesday night so we make sure we have a camp spot for the weekend so that will be nice. We’re excited about going since it’s been three weeks. I think we’re having withdrawals. LOL

Here is our menu for the week. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be spent on the mountain so the meals earlier in the week are fast so we have time to prepare.

Monday – Nacho’s
Tuesday – Roast
Wednesday – French Toast
Thursday – Grilled turkey and cheese sandwiches
Friday – Hot dogs
Saturday – Chicken
Sunday – Hamburgers

What’s on your menu for the week? With fall coming, I’m hoping to be able make more soups and casseroles. Do you have a good recipe for one? I have frozen celery that I’m trying to use up, so let me know if you have a recipe for cooked celery. Hope you have a great week.

Menu Monday: July 25

It’s Monday again and I hope you had a wonderful weekend. My cousin got married over the weekend and his wedding was so cute and typical of both of them. LOL

Here is what’s on our menu for the week.

Monday – Nacho’s
Tuesday – Chef Salad
Wednesday – Homemade pizza’s
Thursday – BBQ hamburgers
Friday – French Dips
Saturday – Dorito Casserole
Sunday – Turkey biscuits

As you may know my family doesn’t do well in the heat so I must come up with meals that are not only cool, but that don’t require using the oven too much. While that’s not entirely possible, I do what I can to make it happen. I also look at the weather to decide which days to have those that do require the oven. When you’re in the middle of summer cooler days are hard to come by, but I do my best to make it happen.

Here’s to a great week; one that’s productive and that goes quickly so the weekend comes upon us again.

Menu Monday: July 18

Today is Menu Monday and the start to a new week. I’ll tell you what it’s hard to come back to reality when you had such a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Oh well, it is what it is. LOL

Here is our menu for the week. It’s nothing special but most of it had to do with items on sale at the store this week and things we had in the house already.

Monday – French Dips and chips
Tuesday – Taco’s
Wednesday – Sheppard’s pie
Thursday – Sloppy Joes and french fries
Friday – Breakfast burritos
Saturday – dinner at the wedding reception
Sunday – BBQ Chicken and rice

These meals are pretty quick and most of them won’t require the stove to be on for too long if it’s on at all. Gotta love that when it’s 90 degrees outside. :)
