This is a picture of our new license plates. As all of you know I have two boys. So my husband and I decided to get personalized plates for our truck. As you can tell from this picture our plates read 2 boys. We had to make a trip to Cheyenne to get the plates, but it was so fun and I couldn’t wait to get home and put them on.
I just love my boys and this is one more way for everyone to know!
This is a picture of Josh playing the game Connect Four. The funny thing about it is he used a stuffed Penguin as a leg for the game. LOL! I guess that’s one way to still play the game.

Coffee filters .. Who knew! And you can buy 1,000 at the Dollar Tree for almost nothing.
COFFEE FILTERS: Not just for making coffee….
1. Cover bowls or dishes when cooking in the microwave.
Coffee filters make excellent covers.
2. Clean windows and mirrors. Coffee filters are
Lint-free so they’ll leave windows sparkling.
3. Protect China . Separate your good dishes by putting a coffee filter between each dish.
4. Filter broken cork from wine. If you break the cork when opening a wine bottle, filter the wine through a coffee filter.
5. Protect a cast-iron skillet. Place a coffee filter in the
Skillet to absorb moisture and prevent rust.
6. Apply shoe polish. Ball up a lint-free coffee filter.
7. Recycle frying oil. After frying, strain oil through a sieve
Lined with a coffee filter.
8. Weigh chopped foods. Place chopped ingredients in a coffee filter on a kitchen scale.
9. Hold tacos. Coffee filters make convenient wrappers for messy foods.
10. Stop the soil from leaking out of a plant pot. Line a plant pot with a coffee filter to prevent the soil from going through the drainage holes.
11. Prevent a Popsicle from dripping. Poke one or two holes as needed in a coffee filter.
12. Do you think we used expensive strips to wax eyebrows? Use strips of coffee filters.
13. Put a few in a plate and put your fried bacon, French fries, chicken fingers, etc on them. Soaks out all the grease.
14. Keep in the bathroom. They make great “razor nick Fixers.
My youngest son Josh was part of a team of other 4th, 5th, and 6th graders that made up the Lego Robotics team at his school. They had a competition on Saturday. They had so much fun and they even one a trophy. They took 15th out of 60 teams and they took 3rd place for team spirit. Here is a picture of the team trophy.
Here is a picture of Josh and one of his team mates running the robot and making it run the course.
After the event on Saturday our local newspaper ran the article below. Josh beamed from ear to ear when he read it.

I’m so excited about my new blog. I’ve been using my blog at virtualfreedom4you.blogspot.com for all my fun stuff like Wordless Wednesday, holiday pictures, etc. I’ve been thinking that is not the right thing for that blog, so I created a Mommy Blog.
I hope you like what I publish here. I’d love to read your comments as well.
So I hope you will peek into my life as a sports mom and see what is going on in my life.
